bound to get fit

i cannot believe that it has been almost 2 months since my last post...and at that, about cookies!! well things have changed since then, really only within the last 2 weeks. ;-) i really was sick and tired of being unfit and unhealthy. sick of looking in the mirror and not feeling good about myself. so it's time to make a change.

it's amazing how each and every person has one struggle in common, weight. why? i wish it could be easy enough to enjoy all the food, and not gain an ounce. well, that's just not the case. i am trying to have the mindset that food is fuel for my body, not really a treat for my enjoyment or a 'prize'. if i do treat myself to a 'prize' it darn well be a healthy one.
it's known that our country is facing an epidemic of being overweight, with most thinking they aren't. how sad is that?! it just takes a little time to prepare a healthy meal, and surprisingly enough, it can be tasty, too! i've found so many great, healthy, recipes on pinterest, even one's alex enjoys. just keepin' it lean and mean.

well to keep myself going through this, i'm going to share my weekly weight loss progress.  yikes! if anything, hopefully this will hold me to it. i have an ideal number in mind, but we all know the number means nothing, it's how you FEEL.

my challenge began on monday, 5/7. as of monday, 5/14 i've lost 2 lbs.
