california love

spent the last 2 days in california for work...although there was some time for play. :)

lauren and i flew into LAX wednesday morning, had that afternoon to enjoy a nice lunch at joan's on third, and then ventured out to santa monica pier. we also got to experience the lovely LA traffic, after picking up laci from the airport that evening.

the next day we filmed at l'ermitage, and had that afternoon to have lunch/work. for dinner we tried sushi at katsuya, which was really good. for one that doesn't really like/enjoy sushi, i ventured out and tried a few different things, and sitting at the sushi bar helped a bit.

heading home here, shortly. it sure was nice to get away from chilly chicago for a few days.
