sun city

alex and i just returned from  a wonderful week out west, enjoying fun times with andy and mackenzie, ending with the celebration of adam and kylie's wedding. although the weather was on the cooler side, we took advantage of the sun and being outdoors as much as possible, while trying to relax at the same time.

our first day we just wandered around scottsdale, having lunch at staxx for some delish burgers, and then took a stroll through old town.

on sunday we hiked up camelback, which was unlike any hike i have ever been on. i love hiking, but this was more like a climb. it was awesome, a great workout, and i would totally do it again. the view was amazing throughout the entire climb.

for our one year, i thought it would be fun to go horseback riding. i absolutely love doing this, and wish i could have gone again before the trip ended.

wednesday, we made our way out to sedona. the views were breathtaking, just wish we could have spent more time there. definitely on my list of places to get back to.

our few days of fun with a&k sadly ended, when kenz went back to indy. but, then the wedding fun began! friday was the rehearsal dinner, which was at pinnacle peak - completely western themed.

it was so great to be out west, enjoying the outdoors. another trip is going to need to be planned SOON.
