tampa, fl

so happy to finally be back together and excited for a weekend of fun!! natalie & i haven't seen each other in seven months since she visited chicago when i first moved. instead of planning a trip to visit in s. carolina/chicago we decided to meet up somewhere.

night #1
feeling a bit famished from a busy day of traveling, we got our gorgeous selves ready and headed out to dinner, wondering where the night would take us in Ybor City. we were positive there would be some kind of trouble...

we enjoyed dinner at Tampa Bay Brewing Company - great food, delish drinks, and a very sarcastic, but enjoyable waiter. he was nice enough to clue us in on the places to go...
we decided to hit up green iguana for a few drinks and to listen to some live music, our personal fave. after making some new friends and making fools of ourselves on the dance floor, we decided to call it a night around 3ish to get some rest.
little did we know what the next day would bring...

day #2
from a successful first night, we didn't roll out of bed until noonish. guess we needed the rest... did a little shopping and some wine tasting in channelside. just a little bit of wine was okay at 3pm, right?? so fun! but after a busy little afternoon a nap was in order before heading out for another wild night.
our afternoon at channelside seemed to make for an exciting second evening. after taking forever to get ready, we head back down to channelside. we hit up a slushie bar, bringing back mems from college nights spent at dr. rocco's, followed by splitsville, a swanky bar/bowling alley club...very intersting. both places brought some unexpected fun, but an evening well rememberd.
day #3
busch gardens!!

day #4
what a relaxing day... pooltime for some warm sunshine - coming out well baked, looking like a lobster! that afternoon we went to see 17 Again, which was super cute. love love love zach efron! ;) and went for a delish steak dinner at Timpano's Martini Bar & Chop House. as much as i dislike eating seafood, i was convinced to have an oyster shooter and ete an oyster ((proof below)). gross! idk what is about seafood and why i can't eat it. it's totally a mental thing, but it just freaks me out. at least i tried it...

day #5
time to say goodbye. :( but luckily we will be together again in 2 weeks when i'm back home in the good 'ol south!
wonder where we will jetset to next!! :)
